Sagra degli Uccelli

The 91st edition of the Sagra degli Uccelli was held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Parco Sant'Uberto in Almenno San Salvatore. The festival, founded in 1934, confirmed its vitality with bird song competitions, hunting dog exhibitions, falconry demonstrations, and "chioccolatori" performances.

The 2025 edition reaffirmed the deep connection between Almenno San Salvatore and the tradition of bird trapping, which earned the town the historic title of "University of Bird Catchers". The event, organized by Federcaccia of Bergamo, attracted enthusiasts and curious visitors from all over the province.
