Sagra de lu Sarmerinu Carbonaretto

The Sagra de lu Sarmerinu Carbonaretto 2025 confirmed the summer event in Piediluco, in the municipality of Terni. Once again this year, the parish spaces of Santa Maria del Colle hosted evenings dedicated to the sarmerinu, the royal perch from the lake grilled over embers, along with other local fish specialities.

The climax of the festival was, as tradition dictates, the evening of August 15th, with the procession in honour of the Madonna dell'Eco which went from the centre of the village to the lake, continuing at night with illuminated boats. A centuries-old rite that links the community of Piediluco to its patron saint and its lake.
