Sagra da Far'nedd and Flavors of Puglia Festival - City of Rodolfo Valentino

The 20th edition

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the historic center of Castellaneta (Taranto) hosted the twentieth edition of the Sagra da Far'nedd and Flavors of Puglia Festival - City of Rodolfo Valentino, with the route starting at 8:00 PM from Largo Umberto I, next to the church of San Michele Arcangelo.

Along the two-kilometer route, visitors enjoyed far'nedd and over ten Apulian specialties, including mozzarella, capocollo, focaccia, friselle, local wines, and artisanal gelato, served by local merchants and restaurateurs. The artistic direction, curated by musician Damiano Carenza, enlivened the village with numerous live folk music stages, including Go Man, Sally Cangiano, and Pino Mazzarano and Lory Zippo. The free-entry event was organized by the UNI.COM.ART. association with the support of the Rodolfo Valentino Foundation and the patronage of the Municipality of Castellaneta and the Puglia Region.

• 8:00 PM - Opening of the food and wine trail from Largo Umberto I (church of San Michele Arcangelo)
• Approximately 2 km route through the alleys of the historic center with over ten tasting stations (far'nedd, mozzarella, capocollo, focaccia, friselle, wines, artisanal gelato)
• Live musical stages along the route: Go Man, Sally Cangiano and Pino Mazzarano, Lory Zippo, and other folk music groups
• Street artists and local merchant markets
• Artistic direction by Damiano Carenza
