Sagnozzi Festival

The 28th edition, August 16, 2025

Punctual as every year the day after Ferragosto, the Sagnozzi Festival returned to Riofreddo, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The stands opened at 7:30 PM in Piazzale Ricciotti Garibaldi with a complete menu for 15 €: sagnozzi topped with a choice of the traditional tomato and celery sauce or mushrooms and truffles, bruschetta, sausage with tomatoes, bread, and wine or water.

À la carte and on stage

Alongside the set menu, the Pro Loco offered arrosticini, grilled sausage sandwiches, French fries, sweet crêpes, and draft beer. At 9:00 PM, the 14th edition of the 'Tanto pe' cantà' singing competition began, open to amateur singers of all ages, with a 100 € shopping voucher to be used at local businesses up for grabs. The evening concluded with music and dancing in the square.
