Edition 2025 — Sagnitelle and Pizzicantò
The Sagnitelle and U Pizzicantò Festival is a well-established tradition in Castellino del Biferno, in the province of Campobasso, linked to the feast day of Saint Anthony of Padua on June 12th. In 2025, the village revived the human tower of thirteen volunteers, which paraded through the village streets rotating on itself, and the festival dedicated to sagnitelle, handmade pasta seasoned with the 'sugo bugiardo' based on cheese and egg.
The event, recognized as intangible heritage of Molise, reaffirmed the strong bond between the community and its tradition and patron saint.
