Edition 2025 — Sagne n'Gariola

The sixteenth edition of the Sagne n'Gariola took place in late July 2025 in the square of Castelferrato, a hamlet of Torrevecchia Teatina. Organized by the Associazione Culturale Ricreativa Penelope, it featured the traditional dinner of sagne e ceci, porchetta, desserts, and watermelon, with food stalls open from 8:00 PM and musical accompaniment, in a well-attended popular celebration.

In 2025, the Sagne n'Gariola reached its sixteenth edition, confirming its status as one of the most beloved summer festivals in the Torrevecchia Teatina area. The event was held in the square of the hamlet of Castelferrato, under the direction of the Associazione Culturale Ricreativa Penelope.

The food stalls, open from 8:00 PM, offered the festival's signature dish, the sagne e ceci of the Abruzzese peasant tradition, along with porchetta, traditional desserts, and watermelon. The evening was enlivened by music and entertainment, drawing residents and visitors from neighboring towns in a convivial atmosphere.
