The 2025 edition
The 2025 Sagne Appezzate Festival took place on August 11th in the center of San Giovanni Lipioni, with dinner in the square starting around 8:00 PM. As per tradition, the fresh pasta was prepared by hand by the village women in the days leading up to the event and served at the tables by community volunteers.
The evening opened a month of August packed with initiatives in the small town in the province of Chieti: book presentations, shows, children's entertainment, and, in the following days, the patronal celebrations of Saint Felix. A festive moment that, every summer, brings inhabitants, emigrants, and visitors back to the village.
