Edition 2025 — Sagne alla Molinara

The 2025 edition of the Sagne alla Molinara Festival took place on August 17 in the historic center of Cittaducale, as part of the Agosto Angioino. Local housewives prepared the sagne by hand, served with the traditional sauce of tomato, garlic, marjoram, wild thyme, and chili pepper, amidst food stalls and live music.

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the village of Cittaducale, in the province of Rieti, hosted a new edition of the Sagne alla Molinara Festival, a key event in the Agosto Angioino calendar. In the squares of the historic center, local housewives hand-stretched the sagne, which were served with the classic homemade sauce of tomato, garlic, oil, marjoram, wild thyme, and chili pepper.

The evening, featuring food stalls and live music, attracted both residents and visitors, confirming the festival as one of the most iconic gastronomic celebrations of the Rieti summer.
