Edition 2025 — Sacred Heart Feast of Statte
The 2025 Edition
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Feast in Statte, in the province of Taranto, took place in 2025 from June 24 to 29. The evening services at 7:00 PM featured various priests: Father Giovanni Agrusta, the parish priest, led the blessing of children; Father Federico Marino led the consecration of families; followed by Father Paolo Martucci and Father Giuseppe Basile on the liturgical feast day.
During the final weekend of June 28-29, Masses were held at 8:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 6:00 PM, followed by the 7:00 PM procession with the brass orchestra and the "Giuseppe Chimienti – Città di Montemesola" band. The evenings were animated by performances from the "Flaner Acustic Trio" and the "Happy Days Band", while the AVIS Statte branch promoted the blood drive in the morning. "The feast is an invitation to learn at the school of the Heart of Jesus," recalled Father Giovanni Agrusta.
