SABIONA - Eisacktal White Wine Festival

In 2025, the edition of SABIONA - Eisacktal White Wine Festival in the Kapuzinergarten of Chiusa did not take place in its usual form. The spring wine offering of the area was instead presented through the "Ban Winzer" format (open cellar day), which invited enthusiasts to discover the diversity and quality of local wine culture by meeting the winemakers of the Isarco Valley.

This alternative formula allowed for a closer look at the producers of the territory between Novacella Abbey, Chiusa, and the lower Isarco Valley, with tastings of typical South Tyrolean whites — from Kerner to Sylvaner, from Müller Thurgau to Gewürztraminer. The traditional white wine festival returned in 2026, bringing the tasting organized by grape variety back to the charming setting of the Capuchin Garden.
