Edition 2025 — S'Kalterer Christkindl
The Christmas market of Caldaro (province of Bolzano) brought the village to life from December 6 to 31, 2025, with openings concentrated on Advent weekends and holidays, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (reduced hours on Christmas Eve).
In Piazza del Mercato, around the fountain and the illuminated tree, the wooden huts offered local crafts, decorations, and gastronomic specialties, amidst the scents of mulled wine, cinnamon, and gingerbread. The program featured concerts and Christmas carols, the Krampus parade and a visit from Saint Nicholas in early December, horse-drawn carriage and pony rides through the village streets, and the fairy tale forest with readings for children, in addition to the exhibition of Krampus masks in the former prison Le Carceri.
