Ruvo Coro Festival 2025: summer symphonies of stone, voice, and light

The 2025 summer edition of the Ruvo Coro Festival took place from July 11 to August 2, preceded by a prologue on June 14. Six evenings, all at 8:30 PM, brought the Cathedral square and Piazzetta Le Monache in Ruvo di Puglia to life.

Opening the festival on July 11 was the Brass ensemble «Il Cenacolo», conducted by Maestro Salvatore Barile, a group of young musicians capable of combining fresh interpretation with technical maturity. This was followed by a tribute to Pink Floyd with the cover band No Wall (July 18), a revival of Italian progressive rock by the New Trolls (July 25), and the Brass Affair Collective blending jazz, funk, and world music (July 27). The season closed in Piazzetta Le Monache with the Metropolitan City Orchestra and the «Made in Puglia» concert (August 1) and the grand finale of the Piceno Pop Chorus (August 2), one of the most appreciated pop choirs in Italy. Promoted by the «Michele Cantatore» Polyphonic Choral Association under the artistic direction of Angelo Anselmi, the 2025 edition reaffirmed the festival's strong bond with the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia and the Puglia Region.
