Rutigliano Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Rutigliano Carnival confirmed the popular and community spirit of the festival, with the parade of allegorical floats and costumed groups along the streets of the center of Rutigliano, in the province of Bari. The procession, promoted by local associations with the patronage of the Municipality, started from Viale della Repubblica to cross the historic center and reach Piazza XX Settembre, where the final party took place.

As per tradition, the carnival season was opened on January 17th by the Terracotta Whistle Fair, on the occasion of the feast of Saint Anthony Abbot, testifying to the close bond between the Carnival and the clay craftsmanship that makes Rutigliano famous throughout Puglia. Numerous associations, play centers, and parish groups contributed to enlivening the procession, in a day dedicated especially to children and families.
