Edition 2025 — Rustico Leccese Festival

In 2025, the Rustico Leccese Festival took place in Surano on July 29, the day after the Pasticciotto Festival, creating a weekend entirely dedicated to the flavors of Salento. In Piazza Santi Martiri d'Otranto and the historic center, the stalls offered the famous rustico leccese, amidst tastings and traditional Salento folk music.

The 2025 edition of the Rustico Leccese Festival was held in Surano, in the province of Lecce, on July 29, closing the gastronomic weekend that began the day before with the Pasticciotto Festival. In the historic center and Piazza Santi Martiri d'Otranto, the stalls offered the rustico leccese and other specialties of Salento's rosticceria, while pizzica enlivened the evening with its traditional rhythms. A popular, free-entry event, highly attended by residents and tourists vacationing in lower Salento.
