The 2025 folk evening

The 2025 edition of the Volkstanzabend took place as usual during the summer on the Festplatz in Steinegg (Collepietra), in the municipality of Cornedo all'Isarco/Karneid, in the Province of Bolzano. The star of the show was the Steinegg Schuhplattler group, which presented Tyrolean folk dances in a rustic style, featuring characteristic rhythmic slapping on shoes and leather breeches, accompanied by the music of a brass band.

The event, organized by Eggental Tourismus, confirmed its role as a summer highlight dedicated to promoting South Tyrolean customs, offering guests of the village of the stars an authentic immersion into the Alpine folklore of the Val d'Ega.
