Edition 2025 — Russi Carnival

In 2025, the Russi Carnival was not held: the masked festival in the historic center took a year's break. The event then returned to the square in 2026 thanks to the collective work of the young people of the Iki-Guys association and numerous local organizations, bringing masks, workshops for children, and the flavors of Romagna's Carnival tradition back to Russi, in the province of Ravenna.

The year 2025 represented a year of interruption for the Russi Carnival: the masked festival that traditionally enlivens Piazza Farini and the streets of the historic center of the Municipality of Russi did not take place. As recalled by local news and the municipal administration, the event only resumed in 2026, "after a year's break," thanks to the collaboration between the Municipality, the Pro Loco, the Parish of Sant'Apollinare, and the young people of the Iki-Guys association.

The resumption of the event confirmed the vitality of a much-loved Carnival tradition in Romagna, capable of uniting generations and different associative realities around masks, gastronomy, and community spirit in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.
