Runzi Fair of the Holy Name of Mary - Somarino Festival

In 2025, the Runzi Somarino Festival, combined with the Holy Name of Mary Fair, once again attracted fans of Polesine cuisine to Bagnolo di Po. The covered stand at the parish grounds offered somarino with polenta, pinzin with typical cured meats, Vicenza-style cod, and traditional first courses over several evenings spread across the two September weekends.

The evenings were enlivened by dance orchestras, while the religious part, with the solemn service, kept alive the connection with devotion to the Most Holy Name of Mary. Completing the celebration were the craft stands and the charity tombola, confirming the festival as one of the most cherished events in the Polesine countryside.
