Edition 2025 — Run for the Whales
In 2025, Run for the Whales once again united sport and sea protection in Sanremo, with the half-marathon, the 10 km race, and the non-competitive event along the coastal cycle path of the Riviera dei Fiori. The proceeds supported the Tethys Institute for the protection of cetaceans in the Ligurian Sea, confirming the event's solidarity and environmental commitment.
The 2025 edition saw the charity run return to Sanremo along the cycle path of the Riviera dei Fiori, with various distances open to runners and families. The initiative reaffirmed the link between sport and the protection of cetaceans in the Ligurian Sea, in support of the Tethys Institute.
An event that attracted participants sensitive to environmental issues, in one of the most biodiverse marine areas in the Mediterranean.
