Edition 2025 — Roseto Opera Prima

The 29th edition of the Roseto Opera Prima Film Festival took place in July 2025 in the Villa Comunale of Roseto degli Abruzzi, confirming the formula of screening evenings dedicated to the debut works of Italian directors. The Roseto Opera Prima Prize was awarded to the film "La Vita da Grandi" by Greta Scarano, one of the most appreciated debuts of the season.

The 29th edition of the Roseto Opera Prima Film Festival enlivened the summer of Roseto degli Abruzzi with the usual selection of debut films screened in the Villa Comunale with free admission. The evenings alternated screenings, meetings with authors, and musical moments, confirming the festival's vocation to support emerging Italian cinema.

The main recognition, the Roseto Opera Prima Prize, went to La Vita da Grandi, a debut work directed by Greta Scarano. The edition also continued the "Cinema in Schools" project, designed to introduce young people to cinematic language, strengthening the festival's bond with the Municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi and the Abruzzo territory.
