Rosario Fiorito

In 2025, the Rosario Fiorito took place on Sunday, October 5th, in accordance with the tradition that sets the event on the first Sunday of October. Meeting in the early afternoon at the chapel below the Flua wall, the procession descended through the alpine pastures to the Church of Sant'Antonio in Alagna Valsesia.

The seven traditional stops marked the recitation of the rosary in the Walser language, with the participation of the Walser communities of Rima, Rimella, Carcoforo, Macugnaga, and Gressoney. The day concluded with Holy Mass and the Te Deum of thanksgiving.
