Romolo Folk Fest 2025 — 8th edition
The eighth edition of the Romolo Folk Fest was held on August 28 and 29, 2025, in Piazza Antonio Stracuzzi in Santa Teresa di Riva, under the theme "The South in Motion". Two evenings were dedicated to pizzica, tarantella, and the folk singing of Southern Italy.
The first evening featured Super Taranta, with the voices of Antonio Castrignanò and Mauro Durante, joined by pizzica artists such as Giancarlo Paglialunga, Enza Pagliara, Giulio Bianco, and Silvia Perrone. The second evening hosted Calabrian singer-songwriter Davis Muccari and saw the presentation of the Enzo Saccà Award to accordionist Pietro Adragna.
The 2025 edition celebrated the 60th anniversary of the group I Canterini della Riviera Jonica Melino Romolo, founded in 1965, accompanied by the INFOLKettando gastronomic initiative featuring tastings of typical Sicilian products.
