Rometta Marea Christmas Markets

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Rometta Marea Christmas Markets took place from December 4th to 7th, transforming the coastal district of the Municipality of Rometta (ME) into a Christmas village made of lights, colors, and traditions.

The approximately 40 wooden chalets hosted local merchants and artisans with their products, typical festive decorations, and food and wine specialties. The street food area, covering about a thousand square meters, was particularly appreciated, featuring wood-fired pizza, fried pizza, porchetta, traditional Messina dishes, and typical sweets, all to be enjoyed comfortably under a large marquee. There was no shortage of entertainment and creative workshops for children, with the goal of promoting local craftsmanship and offering opportunities for meeting and fun for all ages. Admission was free.
