Rome Fringe Festival 2025
The 2025 edition of the Rome Fringe Festival was held in Rome from July 14 to 28, split between two city stages: the Teatro Vascello and the Teatro Cometa Off. The competition brought together numerous independent companies from across Italy, confirming the festival as the premier showcase for national off-theatre in the heart of Lazio.
The final evening, hosted on July 28 at the Teatro Vascello, saw the triumph of "Rainbow", written and performed by Francesco Rivieccio, winner of the Best Show Award, which included a twelve-performance tour in the 2025/2026 season within the Zona Indipendente circuit. The show also won the Critics' Award. The jury was chaired by Manuela Kustermann.
