On Saturday, June 21, 2025, Locorotondo joined the tenth national edition of the Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, the event that illuminates the villages belonging to the association with lights, torches, and candles from sunset to dawn.
In the heart of the Itria Valley, together with nearby Cisternino, the village brought its trulli and cummerse to life with evocative harp and cello concerts, during an evening marked by the initiative's common rituals: the 'Pensiero d'Amore' dessert served in participating restaurants and the traditional midnight kiss with the release of biodegradable balloons.
