Edition 2025 — Roman Walks

In 2025, the Roman Walks accompanied citizens and visitors throughout the year through the heritage of Rome. The program, free and upon reservation, offered itineraries curated by the Capitoline Superintendence in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura, from the Aurelian Walls to the extraordinary openings of the summer months.

The 2025 edition of the Roman Walks took place from January 1 to December 31, 2025, confirming the formula of the recurring and free program promoted by the Capitoline Superintendence for Cultural Heritage of Rome. Among the proposed itineraries, the walk to the Ardeatine Bastion allowed for the exploration of the countryside enclosed within the Aurelian Walls, between Porta San Paolo and Porta San Sebastiano, around the fortress designed by Antonio da Sangallo in 1536 for Pope Paul III Farnese. During the summer months, the calendar was enriched with extraordinary openings to discover the city's lesser-known treasures.
