Roma Creative Contest 2025
The fourteenth edition of the Roma Creative Contest was held in Rome from December 19 to 21, 2025, spread across Spazio Scena, the WeGil cultural center, and the Cinema Troisi in the Trastevere district. Alongside the screenings of the competing shorts, the program featured the Screenplay Contest for emerging writers, Casting Training sessions with casting director Giulia Appolloni, and open meetings with the directors of Italian film festivals.
The awards ceremony, hosted on Sunday, December 21, at Cinema Troisi, awarded the prize for best Italian short film to "Bratiska" by Gregorio Mattiocco, best international short film to "Offline", best animation to "Artefatti" by Alessandro Bavari, and best documentary to "52 Is a Machine". The audience award went to "Hold On". Admission to all venues was free.
