Edition 2025 — Roma Comic Off

The ninth edition of Roma Comic Off was held from September 15th to October 5th, 2025, bringing the capital's comedy and off-theatres to life with dozens of competing shows. Companies from across Italy competed in the Comedy and One (Wo)man Show categories, featuring comedies, monologues, and cabaret, with the audience invited to vote for the performances and decide the edition's winners.

The 2025 edition of Roma Comic Off, the ninth, took place from September 15th to October 5th, 2025, in various theatres across Rome, in the Lazio region. For about three weeks, the capital hosted a packed programme of comedy shows, confirming the format of a competition spread across multiple city venues.

The competing companies, hailing from all over Italy, presented themselves to the public in the Comedies and One (Wo)man Show categories, performing ensemble comedies, monologues, cabaret, and stand-up. As per tradition, the festival paid special attention to young talent and emerging Italian comedy acts, alongside well-known names from the Roman theatre scene. The audience present in the theatres voted to determine the winning performances.
