Edition 2025 — Rock Mass

In 2025, the Rock Mass once again animated the dawn of Ferragosto in Igea Marina, at the Port Authority Square. Don Marco Foschi celebrated the Assumption feast with liturgical chants in a rock key, accompanied by drums, percussion, and electric guitar, before a large crowd gathered at the port to witness the sunrise over the sea. An event now deeply rooted in the Ferragosto traditions of the Romagna Riviera.

The 2025 edition of the Rock Mass took place on August 15th at dawn, at the Port Authority Square of Igea Marina, in the Municipality of Bellaria-Igea Marina (RN). As per tradition, don Marco Foschi of the Parish of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart celebrated the Assumption feast with a liturgy accompanied by drums, percussion, and electric guitar.

The celebration combined the energy of rock-key chants with a moment of silence before the sun rising from the sea, confirming it as one of the most evocative events of Ferragosto on the Emilia-Romagna coast. Admission was free.
