Edition 2025 — Roccaraso Vola

The 2025 edition of Roccaraso Vola took place on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3 on the Piano dell'Aremogna, in Roccaraso (AQ). Two days of kites, hands-on workshops, and group flights guided by experts, featuring the traditional candy drop for children and the Luci in volo evening show on Saturday. Sunday morning featured a free snack and a bubble party, in an entirely free event dedicated to families.

Roccaraso Vola 2025

The Kite Festival returned to the Piano dell'Aremogna, in Roccaraso (AQ), on the weekend of August 2-3, 2025. The event, free and designed for families, brought the Abruzzo plateau to life with kites of every shape and color.

On Saturday, August 2, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, there were hands-on workshops to build kites, group flight sessions led by experts, and the candy drop for children. In the evening, at 9:30 PM, the Luci in volo show featured illuminated kites. Sunday, August 3 began with a free snack and a bubble party, followed by further flight sessions until 6:00 PM.
