Roccamaris – Summer Encounters at the Castle

Roccamaris 2025 – the 9th edition

The ninth edition of Roccamaris – Summer Encounters at the Castle took place from August 3 to 13, 2025 at the Castello di Roccella in Campofelice di Roccella, in the province of Palermo, with four evenings of free admission starting at 9:15 PM. The festival, curated by the Associazione Roccamaris APS with the support of the Municipality and local entities, confirmed the formula that weaves together music, theatre, and Sicilian folk tradition.

The four evenings

• August 3 – Concert by the SicilyTrio (Giusy Cascio, Enzo Toscano, Antonino Lampasona), a musical journey between classical and modern.
• August 6 – V.A.N. Collective with "Odisseo Superstar. The hero nobody needs", a musical comedy that ironically reinterprets mythology.
• August 10 – Antonio Smiriglia with "Lovers, saints, and sailors", an evening of original Sicilian folk music.
• August 13 – "The Out-of-Tune Princess" with Iridiana Petrone and the NaveArgo Association, a show dedicated to families and children.

The organizers emphasized how culture can restore life to the memory of places, enhancing the historic Castle and promoting a sense of community in Campofelice di Roccella.
