Young people take center stage in Nogarole Rocca

Rocca Offline – disconnect to connect is a youth event project that takes place in Nogarole Rocca, a town in the plain in the province of Verona. The initiative stems from the municipal call 'Bando alle Ciance', designed to support projects conceived and carried out by young people aged 16 to 30 from the area, with the aim of strengthening community ties.

Sustainability and conscious technology

The common thread of Rocca Offline is sustainability and the conscious use of technology: the invitation, as the title suggests, is to 'disconnect to connect', meaning to switch off from screens to rediscover the dimension of real relationships. The program includes a secondhand fashion show, dedicated to reuse and second-hand clothing, volleyball tournaments, workshops on sustainability, and activities for children, including an introduction to horse riding for kids.

A community initiative

Funded by the Municipality of Nogarole Rocca through the dedicated call, Rocca Offline is an example of how young people can promote initiatives that animate the town and create opportunities for meeting. A project that, in the early days of July, brings energy, ideas, and a desire to be together to the squares of the Veronese plain.
