River Fire – Pignarûl of Ariis

The 2025 edition of the Incendio sul Fiume took place on the evening of January 5th in Ariis, organized by the Pro Loco Cuore dello Stella. On the bend of the Stella River, in front of the historic Villa Ottelio Savorgnan, the great Epiphany bonfire was lit, accompanied by dances and pyrotechnic displays on the water that created a suggestive spectacle. Participants were offered mulled wine and pinza cake, while Befana distributed stockings to the children, in an evening that confirmed the most spectacular version of the Epiphany fires of the Friulian lowlands.
