River Festival 2025 in Ceraso

On August 9th and 10th, 2025, Ceraso celebrated its River Festival along the banks of the Palistro, organized by the Pro Loco of Ceraso with the patronage of the Municipality.

The food stands offered the repertoire of Cilento cuisine: mixed appetizers, freselle with tomatoes, Cilento pasta, eggplant, grilled meats, fried pizzas, and sweets like zeppole and struffoli, accompanied by local wine, beer, and digestifs.

On the musical front, the evening of August 9th featured a performance by TarantaNobes, a group that blends folk sounds with Mediterranean atmospheres; on August 10th, the music became itinerant, moving through the streets of the village. Over the two days, there was also space for the local artisan exhibition, with demonstrations of traditional trades.

On August 11th, the Emigrant's Day followed, dedicated to the citizens of Ceraso who live abroad and maintain their ties to their home village.
