Edition 2025 — Ritrovarsi

June 2025 marks the origin of the Ritrovarsi Festival: it was in this month that Alessio Pagnini, a music enthusiast and contributor to the webzine Rock Nation, passed away. From the desire of friends and family to remember him, the idea of an independent and charitable festival was born, which would debut the following year in Borgo a Buggiano, in the spirit of the passions Alessio cultivated.

The origins of the Ritrovarsi Festival

The Ritrovarsi Festival has its roots in June 2025, when the passing of Alessio Pagnini — a well-known figure in the independent music scene and a contributor to Rock Nation — prompted friends, family, and local entities in the Valdinievole area to imagine a way to keep his memory alive. From that desire, the idea of a day combining live music, creativity, and solidarity was born, hosted in the spaces of the Centro Giovani OX in Borgo a Buggiano, in the province of Pistoia. The first edition of the festival would then be held in June 2026, exactly one year after that loss, donating the proceeds to AIL Pistoia and Sea Shepherd.
