The 2025 Festa dell'Unità in Rieti

From October 2nd to 4th, 2025, the Area MaKo on Via Micioccoli hosted the Festa dell'Unità organized by the Rieti federation of the Democratic Party.

Thursday opened at 5:30 PM with a speech by city secretary Enzo Antonacci, followed at 6:00 PM by the debate "Europe and international law after the Gaza genocide," with Alessandra Maiorino, Paolo Romano, Nico Bavaro, and Alfredo D'Attorre. In the evening, a concert by Raffaello Simeoni took place.

On Friday, October 3rd, the meeting "A Law for Rieti" brought together Andrea Di Giacobbe, Lazio regional secretary Daniele Leodori, and national PD president Stefano Bonaccini; in parallel, there was a discussion on a civic project for Italy with Rome city councilor Alessandro Onorato. At 9:00 PM, music was provided by the accordions of Tony and Emanuele Grifoni.

Saturday, October 4th, the final day was dedicated to "Rieti University City," with the Young Democrats, and concluded with music. Throughout the three days, solidarity workshops and fundraising stalls were set up, while the kitchen offered traditional local dishes every evening starting at 8:00 PM.
