Riesi Summer Carnival

On August 6, 2025, Piazza Garibaldi and the historic center of Riesi transformed into a whirlwind of music, color, and imagination for the Riesi Summer Carnival, part of the Estate Riesina program. The meeting point was set for 8:15 PM at the Liceo Carlo Maria Carafa, from where a colorful masked parade set off, enlivening the town streets with music and performances until arriving at Piazza Garibaldi at 10:30 PM.

Among the protagonists were the young people of Estagiosa – Anime Legend in Oratorio, promoted by the Basilica Maria SS. della Catena, who paraded in fantasy-themed costumes, bringing striking characters to life; the initiative involved over 400 participants. The evening concluded with the awards ceremony for the winning group and a masked dance party. The organization, managed by the municipal administration, was supported by the Municipal Police, Civil Protection, and the Italian Red Cross.
