Edition 2025 — Ricotta Festival

The 2025 edition of the Ricotta and Local Products Festival took place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Piazza Garibaldi in Marianopoli, as part of the village's Christmas program. As every year, the festival featured tastings of freshly produced ricotta, demonstrations of the milk processing, and samplings of traditional local products, in a festive atmosphere that drew visitors from neighboring towns.

The 2025 Ricotta and Local Products Festival was held on December 28 in Piazza Garibaldi, in the center of Marianopoli (Caltanissetta), confirming the traditional Christmas appointment.

In 2025, the event once again featured its most beloved formula: the live demonstration of the milk-to-ricotta transformation, managed by officials and volunteers, and free tastings of warm, freshly curdled ricotta. Alongside the ricotta, visitors were able to taste typical products of the local cuisine — cavateddi, cassatelle, cheeses, and traditional sweets.

The festival was part of the broader Christmas program in Marianopoli, including concerts, nativity scenes, and markets, in a joyful and participatory atmosphere that attracted audiences from the surrounding hinterland towns.
