Ricerchiamoci a Ghedi

A festival with a purpose

Ricerchiamoci is much more than a summer festival: it is a community celebration with a precise mission, to support the fight against cystic fibrosis. Organized in Ghedi, in the province of Brescia, by a group of volunteers active since 2009, the event raises funds that are donated to LIFC Emilia (Italian Cystic Fibrosis League), contributing concretely to research and assistance.

Three evenings at the Oratory

The heart of the festival is the San Giovanni Bosco Oratory, on via Lapapasini, which hosts hundreds of people for three evenings. Every evening, starting from 7:00 PM, the restaurant, pizzeria, bar, and the inflatable slide for children open, while the stage hosts live music: cover bands, tributes, and evenings dedicated to the hits of the '80s and '90s.

At the table

The gastronomic offering is the generous one of Brescia festivals: first courses, meat dishes, polenta with melted cheese, French fries, desserts, and ice cream. On the main days, there is no shortage of fried dumplings (gnocco fritto) and cured meats, accompanied by local typical products. A tried-and-tested formula that attracts families and groups of friends every year.

The value of volunteers

Behind Ricerchiamoci is the work of dozens of volunteers who, year after year, build this festival with dedication. It is thanks to them that solidarity and fun coexist in Ghedi, making the event one of the most established charitable appointments in the Bassa Bresciana region.
