Edition 2025 — Riccia Folk Festival

The 15th edition of the Riccia Folk Festival took place from August 7 to 11, 2025, in the historic center. Peppe Barra, international folk groups from Peru, Argentina, Colombia, and Ukraine, and singer-songwriters Tommaso Primo and Mimmo Cavallaro performed, with food stalls in Piazza Umberto I.

The 15th edition of the Riccia Folk Festival enlivened the historic center of Riccia (CB) from August 7 to 11, 2025. Five evenings of folk music and dance, organized by the 'G. Moffa' Folk Group Association, with a broad international and national program, accompanied by food and wine stalls in Piazza Umberto I.

Programme

  • Wed, August 7 — opening concert by Peppe Barra
  • Thu, August 8, 9:00 PM, Piazza Umberto I — international folklore with groups from Peru, Argentina, Colombia, and Ukraine
  • Fri, August 9 — singer-songwriter Tommaso Primo
  • Sat, August 10 — Mimmo Cavallaro
  • Closing with folk groups from Italy, Ecuador, Thailand, and Spain

Throughout the festival, food and wine stalls in Piazza Umberto I will offer typical Riccia dishes.
