ReWriters fest 2025: the fifth edition
From November 21 to 23, 2025, the ReWriters fest enlivened the heart of Rome, in the setting of the Galleria Alberto Sordi and Piazza Colonna, next to Palazzo Chigi. The fifth edition of the first European festival dedicated to social sustainability, conceived and directed by Eugenia Romanelli, took place as part of the Social Sustainability Week.
With godmother Violante Placido and ambassador Chiara Francini, the event brought together over one hundred voices from the worlds of culture, journalism, and entertainment. Topics addressed included: violence against women, the gender pay gap, gender medicine, mental health, LGBTQIA+ rights, and the climate crisis. The 2025 ReWriters Prize was awarded to Margherita Buy, while the ReWorld Prize recognized commitment to social sustainability.
True to its identity, the 2025 edition was a plastic-free event with free admission, with meetings streamed on the ReWriters Facebook and YouTube channels.
