Retake Day 2025: the first national edition

The 2025 edition of Retake Day took place from May 23 to 25, 2025, in twenty Italian cities, with a strong symbolic value: fifteen years after the birth of Retake in Rome as a spontaneous civil society movement, the day celebrated the widespread diffusion of the network throughout the territory.

In Rome, activities began at 10:00 AM in Piazza San Felice da Cantalice, the meeting point for volunteers in Centocelle. The day focused on the recovery of the Acquedotto Alessandrino, a historical but neglected monument. Children, teenagers, parents, schools, associations, and volunteers joined forces to improve squares, parks, streets, and public gardens in a single, large initiative dedicated to the protection of common goods and active participation.
