Edition 2025 — Resuttano Carnival

In 2025, the Resuttano Carnival once again colored the Nisseno village with its allegorical float parades, which started from Piazzale Papa Giovanni Paolo II and wound through the town streets. The festival, organized by the Pro Loco, offered masquerade balls, live music, costumed groups, and traditional tastings of fritters and local sweets, involving both adults and children.

The 2025 edition of the Resuttano Carnival confirmed the festival as one of the most vibrant events in the province of Caltanissetta. Faithful to a proven formula, the Carnival began with a dance party and fritter tasting, before exploding with allegorical float parades on the main days.

The floats, built in the preceding weeks by local groups, depicted famous characters, fantasy figures, and current themes, parading from Piazzale Papa Giovanni Paolo II along the town center streets amidst live music, masquerade balls, and a shower of confetti. An edition that renewed the spirit of community and joy typical of the Resuttano Carnival.
