Renzo Trovò Football Tournament

The 2025 edition of the Renzo Trovò Trophy confirmed the charm of one of the most beloved youth football events in the Maremma. In Campagnatico, on the pitches of the Mario Galli Sports Centre, the best Esordienti teams in Tuscany faced off.

In the 2013 Esordienti category, Grosseto, coached by Gianluca Bini, took the win, applauded even by opposing fans for their technique and pace, ahead of teams like Roselle, Argentario, Venturina, and Academy Livorno. Among the 2012 Esordienti, the title went to Salivoli, in a group that included Up Poliziana, Atletico Maremma, Grosseto, and Campese.

A touching moment during the award ceremony was the presence of Renzo Trovò's father, a former Grosseto captain, who was visibly moved while presenting the awards to the young players. Individual prizes for the best goalkeeper, best player, and top scorer of each category were also awarded.
