Edition 2025 — Fair of the Prized Black Truffle

The 40th edition of the Regional Fair of the Prized Black Truffle of Acqualagna took place in February 2025, celebrating Tuber Melanosporum Vitt in Piazza Enrico Mattei. Stalls of truffle hunters, stands of typical Marche products, promotional menus in restaurants, and initiatives at the Truffle Museum accompanied the village towards the traditional Truffle Carnival, the only one in the world where the precious hypogeous fungus is thrown in the air.

The 2025 edition of the Regional Fair of the Prized Black Truffle marked the fortieth event of the fair, confirming Acqualagna as a reference point for black truffle enthusiasts even in winter.

In Piazza Enrico Mattei, the truffle hunters' market with fresh produce, the region's food and wine stands, show cooking, and tastings took place, while restaurants in the center offered menus dedicated to Tuber Melanosporum Vitt. The fair, as tradition dictates, opened the celebrations for the Truffle Carnival.
