Edition 2025 — Re Zappone

In the summer of 2025, the Re Zappone Festival once again brought its successful formula to Ovindoli: three days of re-enacting ancient crafts and Marsican traditions, starting from Piazza San Rocco and featuring displays along the main street of the historic center. Folk music, artisans, local farmers, traditional menus in local restaurants, and the re-enactment of the Carraggio with vintage games brought the village on the Altopiano delle Rocche to life.

The 2025 Re Zappone Festival in Ovindoli

The 2025 edition of the Re Zappone Festival confirmed the event as one of the most cherished summer appointments in Ovindoli (AQ). Along the route from Piazza San Rocco to the historic center, the "corners of history" dedicated to ancient crafts returned: artisans, merchants, and farmers told the story of life in the past, between shepherding and working the land, accompanied by folk music in the streets.

As per tradition, the village restaurants offered special menus linked to Marsican cuisine, while the re-enactment concluded with the Carraggio and vintage games. It was an edition dedicated to the community and the rediscovery of the village's roots, in the heart of the Sirente-Velino Regional Natural Park.
