Ravenna Musica

The 2025 edition of Ravenna Musica took place at the Alighieri Theatre from February 5 to May 7, with nine subscription concerts. The opening concert on February 5 featured the Leonore Orchestra conducted by Daniele Giorgi, with pianist Arsenii Moon performing Chopin's First Concerto. Among the most applauded events were the return of cellist Mario Brunello (March 12) with a program dedicated to the sons of Johann Sebastian Bach, and the Trio di Parma (April 23) with Simonide Braconi on viola, performing two quartets by Brahms. The season concluded on May 7 with the Vittorio Calamani Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Nicola Valentini in Beethoven's Triple Concerto. Organized by the Angelo Mariani Musical Association, the festival once again proved to be one of the most important events in the cultural life of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna.
