Ravenna Festival in Russi 2025

The 2025 edition of the Ravenna Festival in Russi featured two evenings in the large park of Palazzo San Giacomo, an 18th-century residence of the Rasponi counts in the Province of Ravenna.

On Saturday, June 28 (9:30 PM), "La lunga notte irlandese" (The Long Irish Night) took place, with Derek Hickey on concertina, Mick O'Brien on uilleann pipes, and Ciara Ní Bhriain on violin, along with the ensemble Birkin Tree and the historic band Dervish. On Sunday, June 29 (9:30 PM), the "spiritual jazz night" paid tribute to Alice Coltrane with a double concert: opening with saxophonist Lakecia Benjamin with the "Phoenix Reimagined" project, followed by the "Turiya" ensemble led by percussion master Hamid Drake. For both evenings, food stalls with local specialties were open from 7:30 PM.
