Edition 2025 — Ravenna Marathon
The Ravenna Art City Marathon 2025 concluded a record-breaking edition with over 19,000 participants, the highest figure in the event's history. In the Marathon (42.195 km), John Hakizimana (Rwanda) triumphed in 2h10'47'' and Nelly Jepleting Tirop (Kenya) in 2h26'14'', a new absolute course record. In the Consar Half Marathon (21.097 km), Caroline Makandi Gitonga set a time of 1h06'26'', becoming the fastest women's half marathon ever run in Italy, while Philemon Koskei won in 1h03'38''. A weekend of sport that confirmed Ravenna, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, as the capital of running.
