Edition 2025 — Rascino Lentil Festival

The 2025 edition of the Rascino Lentil Festival took place in Fiamignano on Sunday, August 10, 2025, on the second Sunday of August. As per tradition, the event celebrated the Slow Food Presidium legume of the Rascino Plateau with tastings of traditional soups, local product stalls, and guided tours of the fields and mountain lakes of the Cicolano region.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Rascino Lentil Festival confirmed the great success of this historic Cicolano celebration, which began in 1971. In the historic center of Fiamignano, in the province of Rieti, visitors were able to enjoy the famous lentil soups and traditional rural dishes, prepared with the Slow Food Presidium ecotype grown without chemicals on the Rascino Plateau.

Alongside the food, the day offered stalls with local products, live music, and guided tours of the plateau, amidst pastures, springs, and mountain lakes, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved summer food and wine events in Lazio.
