Rapinesi of the World Festival

The 2025 Rapinesi of the World Festival took place on Friday, August 8, 2025, in the historic center of Rapino (CH), confirming the summer appointment dedicated to the emigrants of the Abruzzese village and their descendants scattered around the world.

The edition was part of a year of intense exchanges between Rapino and its diaspora: in the summer of 2025, a municipal delegation led by Mayor Mario Santovito, together with councilor Adriano Pasquale, reached Ottawa at the invitation of the Abruzzese Federation of Canada, finding a numerous and strongly integrated Rapinese community, gathered in the Associazione Rapinesi chaired by Lorenzo Micucci. The festival in the village was the natural counterpart to that journey: the moment when it was the emigrants' turn to return home.

Among the alleys and squares of the ceramics village, the day combined memories, family meetings, music, and the flavors of the Majella tradition, celebrating the belonging and shared memory of Rapinesi from every part of the world.
